MIG.EN.CUBE

MIG.EN.CUBE (‘Fostering MIGrant Entrepreneurship inCUBation in Europe’) seeks to enhance the knowledge and competences of diverse incubation professionals dealing with (would-be) super-diverse entrepreneurs, so as to better foster learning and experience opportunities for migrant entrepreneurs in starting and growing a successful business.

MIG.EN.CUBE complements other MPG projects on migrant entrepreneurship and will ultimately produce something that goes beyond a handbook or similar publications, by creating a MOOC for professionals and organisations supporting migrant entrepreneurs.

Activities

In 2021, MIG.EN.CUBE will carry out the following activities:

1) Synoptic Scan:

Research about incubation professionals’ training needs
Timing: February 2021 – August 2021

Project partners will carry out qualitative and quantitative research to understand the most pressing training needs of incubation experts dealing with migrant entrepreneurs or aspiring migrant entrepreneurs.

Reporting and dissemination about incubation professionals’ training needs
Timing: August 2021 – September 2021

Project partners will produce country-level reports to describe the training needs of incubation professionals who deal with aspiring or actual migrant entrepreneurs in France, Italy, and The Netherlands, and one summary report. The reports will be available online and presented through multiplier events and academic and policy-practice publications.
